EWS certificate rejected
What should we write in caste and sub caste? I wrote caste- kayastha and sub caste - Aditya but the form is rejected because of this what should I do now
A.Dear Client,
If incorrect caste and sub-caste details were provided in the EWS (Economically Weaker Section) application, resulting in its rejection, it's essential to note that Kayastha falls under the general category. The 12 sub-castes of Kayastha include Srivastava, Mathur, Saxena, Nigam, Kulshreshtha, Bhatnagar, Ambashtha, Asthana, Suryadhwaj, Gaur, Karna, and Valmik.
To rectify the situation, you have the option to apply for a fresh EWS Certificate, ensuring that all details, including caste and sub-caste, are accurately mentioned. However, make sure that all other factors align with the eligibility criteria required for obtaining the EWS certificate. This will help ensure the successful processing of your application.

A.Dear Client,
As you wrote the wrong caste and sub-caste in the EWS application, the same is rejected by the authority. A kayastha comes under the general category and there are 12 sub-caste of Kayastha; they are Srivastava, Mathur, Saxena, Nigam, Kulshreshtha, Bhatnagar, Ambashtha, Asthana, Suryadhwaj, Gaur, Karna, Valmik. You can apply for EWS Certificate afresh if other factors meet the eligibility criteria required for the purpose.
