A.Dear Client,

In the context of a dispute between a tenant and a landlord, resolution typically falls under the purview of the state-specific Rent Control Act. These acts are designed to regulate the relationship between landlords and tenants and provide mechanisms for dispute resolution. Usually, a Rent Controller or Additional Rent Controller is appointed to address disputes arising from rent agreements or other related issues.

If you are facing issues with a flat owner, it's advisable to follow a legal process to address your grievances. Serving a legal notice to the flat owner can be an initial step. However, if the issue persists, you may consider filing an application before the relevant Rent Controller, explaining your grievance and seeking resolution in accordance with the applicable Rent Control Act. This legal process aims to address disputes amicably and in accordance with the provisions of the law. Consulting with a legal professional can provide guidance on the specific procedures and requirements under the relevant Rent Control Act in your jurisdiction.

A.Dear Client,
A dispute between a tenant and landlord is resolved under the state-specific Rent Control Act under which a Rent Controller or Addl Rent Controller is appointed to deal with the dispute arising out of a rent agreement between the parties or otherwise for any reason. So, serving a legal notice to the flat owner, file an application explaining your grievance before the concerned Rent Controller to resolve the issue amicably.
