Cheque and pronote Cheque and pronote

In December of 2019, the second week, I lent money to a known person. Rs. 100000 for 5 percent interest per month. In that time, I gave my four signed check leaves and pro-note papers, and within four months of the period, I returned the entire amount through an online transaction, but the person refused to return my check and pro-note paper.

They said my check and pro note were missed somewhere.

What can I do now?

I closed that bank account, but I want to protect myself in these cases.

I have the entire transaction proof for the amount of the transaction.

A.Dear Client,
In the given scenario, lodge a missing complaint of cheque leaves and pro-notes at the Police Station and also lodge an FIR against the person for cheating under Sec.415 of IPC. which may help you to defend your case if the other party files a false case against you misusing your said cheque leaves and pro-notes in future.
