Need clarity on legal documents
Hi, I have purchased one apartment in Bangalore where we together 40 people purchased land and did the JDA with the builder and now later we got 1 flat per person as part of landowner shares.
Currently, I have below soft copies where details of all the people mentioned
1. Sale deed
2. JDA
3. Partition deed
4. GPA
5. Block level and plan
6. Legal opinion
7. paper advertisement
My question is, now I don't have any original copy in this situation, what document should I need to keep? should I get a true copy of the document from the registrar's office? Can someone guide me on what should i keep as a reference so that in the future, there are no challenges for sale?
A.Dear Sir
Better keep all the originals in your association office and you individual owners of the houses may keep certified copy of all the above listed documents.

A.Dear Client,
Amongst all the documents as referred by you in your query, as a Buyer of a property, you shall have an original Deed of Agreement to Sale and the Deed of Sale/Conveyance, which are considered principal documents that prove your ownership. Besides, you should keep soft copies or true copies of all other documents related to the property as referred by you along with an encumbrance certificate(EC) of the property obtained from different authorities and sources before buying the property to avoid any future litigations.
