Employment _ returning of company property after resignation Employment _ returning of company property after resignation

Dear Sir/Maam,
I left my company. My company (Jio-Mumbai) delivered a laptop to its branch office (Gorakhpur) near to my home, as i was working from home. After leaving the company, company is asking me to deliver it to different city (Lucknow) and refusing to pay for travel or for reverse courier pickup. Do I have to do what company is saying or can i say no and ask for courier pickup? What would be my legal right?
Note that i didn't sign any paper where it says that i have to return this laptop to a different city. Company is simply saying that it's their policy.
