i am the 2 years customer for starhealth comprehensive star health,recently i added my spouse..i applied for maternity claim..& request to insurer to reconsider the claim due to my family situation.but they rejected ,due to 24 months waiting period intimate through mail..afterthat i receiving mails from starhealth kindly submit the documents to proceed the claim,i did not consider that..recently i receiving a mail reason for rejection is non submission of documents(Even after reminders, you have not sent us the above documents.We therefore presume that you are not interested in preferring the claim
and therefore the same is rejected.)one month back they rejected due to waiting period,now i receiving like this..i had documents submission ack copy..totally they are confusing. any possible to compensate against insurer or claim..kindly guide me.

A.Dear Client,
In the health insurance policy, some pre-existing diseases(PED) are covered after24 months from the date of inception of the policy and some are covered after 48 months on continuous renewal of the policy. Since the claim arose before the 24 months, the Insurer has repudiated or rejected your claim for lack of coverage of PED as per terms of the Insurance Policy.

A.Dear client, withour directly resorting to the complaint on the insurance company try to re-inititate the claim process and talk to them and submit the required documents. Even then if there is no claim released then you can file a complaint.
