Im from Karnataka my mom has no caste certificate and me and my mom has been seperated from my father since 20 years now I had put wrong caste name on my tc and I need to do caste certificate as it is wrong in tc i dont know wat to do how can I do caste certificate when I don't have my parents caste certificate
A.Dear Client,
You can visit the official website of Karnataka Government to apply for caste certificate. You can provide the caste certificate of any of the close relatives of your mother (Uncle, Aunt, etc) along with other documents in order comply with the procedural requirements. However, it is important to establish your relationship with that person while applying for the certificate. In Karnataka, the Revenue Department is responsible for issuing the caste certificate. So, you can reach to the Tehsildar of your respective district and enquire about other requisite documents and procedures to be followed in order to obtain the caste certificate.
Hope this helps.
Thank you.

A.Dear Client,
If both proposed castes belong to the OBC category, you may proceed with the same caste.

A.Dear Sir,
It is a big task. You have not disclosed whether proposed caste comes under reserve category. If both the castes comes under OBC you may continue with the same caste.
