A.Dear Client,

Typically, in divorce cases, except for mutual consent divorces, individuals usually have to wait for approximately 90 days to ensure that there are no appeals filed against the last order, judgment, or decree. The issuance of the TEOR certificate usually occurs only after this time period has elapsed. If this condition is met, then considering remarriage becomes an option. Otherwise, it is advisable to wait for the full 90-day period.

A.See usually for any divorce related matter unless it is a mutual consent divorce one has to wait for around 90 days to ensure that there is no appeal from the last order/judgement/decree.
I hope the TEOR certificate is issued only after the time limit has been crossed. If that is the case then you can think of remarriage else suggested to wait for 90 days.
Also please meet some local lawyer in Goa to have a detailed discussion on the same. In case you need to have an appointment fixed then get in touch with our vidhikarya team they will fix the meeting with out local partner in Goa.

A.Dear Client,
Goa is the only state in India where a uniform civil code(UCC) is in practice which is typically different from the laws applicable in other states of the Country. So, it is recommended to consult with a local Advocate conversant with the matrimonial laws of Goa.
