I was staying in a pg. And the pg is not registered as commercial property. The owner of the pg restrict the girls of the pg from wearing clothes of there choice. Plus, after arguing with the owner, she demanded to vacant the pg room immediately. The owner doesn't have any agreement signed by us, upon such rules and also now, she is demanding to vacant the room after a month. The statement by her was been said in the heated argument. Nd no prior notice is given by her. Having said that, she is now demanding to leave her pg. Also she was having issue with my professional timing schedule.
No terms and conditions has been stated by her, during issue of room.

A.Dear Madam,
There is no rules and regulations prescribed by State Government for managing the dress code of the inmates. You may pursue the matter and if you are not comfortable it if better to shift to any other PG centre.

A.Dear Client,
In the absence of any agreement between the PG and PG Owner, a dispute between the both cannot be resolved even through litigation. However, if you have sufficient evidence that supports your claim, you may apply to the Rent Controller appointed under the state-specific Rent Control Act seeking appropriate relief in the matter.

A.Dear Client,

Owner of the PG is imposing restrictions without proper legal basis. Since there's no formal agreement signed by you detailing any rules or regulations, the owner's demands may not hold legal weight. Additionally, if there was no prior notice given for vacating the room and the demand was made during a heated argument, it could be considered unfair and unreasonable.

Your rights as a tenant in such a situation. Generally, tenants are entitled to certain rights and protections, even in informal rental arrangements like PG accommodations. In many jurisdictions, landlords are required to provide notice before asking tenants to vacate the premises, typically ranging from 30 to 90 days depending on local laws.

You may want to consider seeking legal advice or assistance from a tenant rights organization in your area to understand your options and how to proceed. It may also be helpful to document any communication or interactions with the owner regarding the situation.
