A.Dear Client,

Your oversight in failing to obtain proper leave approval leaves you vulnerable to disciplinary action for unauthorized absence. You can't blame someone else for your mistake. Dismissal for such an offense is typically disproportionate, considering principles of fairness. During the inquiry, admitting fault, you can request a less severe penalty. If still dismissed, you can send a legal notice to the company and seek intervention from the State Labour Commissioner for justice.

A.Dear Client,
It was your mistake to appreciate the remarks of the leave-approving authority before going on leave which makes you liable to face disciplinary action for unauthorised absence now. You cannot accuse another person of harassment for your own default. An unauthorised absence from the workplace normally does not deserve a capital punishment like dismissal from service considering the principle of natural justice. So, in the course of domestic inquiry into the charges, admitting your foul, you can make a prayer to the management for a lenient punishment for the misconduct committed by default instead of the imposition of capital punishment considering the principle of natural justice. However, in case of dismissal/termination from service, serving a legal notice to the Company, you can escalate your grievance before the State Labour Commissioner seeking their intervention in resolving the dispute for the sake of justice.
