Is there any provision of customary and religious practise in hindu marriage, for exchange of gifts between bride and grooms family. Can it be used to counter false dowry allegation ?

A. sorry to say but there is no such provision available against exchanging gifts between family.. but demand of dowry in form of money or any valuables articles is punishable under dowry prohibition Act. but if some one giving you gift by theirs own choice and consent then it not come under dowry prohibition Act.
