Society has made mistake in mentioning the name in share certificate so what needs to be done?

A.Dear Client,
You will have to give a public notice stating that your name is changed. After the public notice, you will have to approach the sub-registrar with whom you have registered the agreement under the previous name along with the public notice and the official Gazette which shows the name change.

A.As the society has made mistake in the name so kindly show the original flat agreement along with your KYC and accordingly they will update in the society records as well as the share certificate. The changes will be done in 15 working days

A.Ask the society to correct the same if your name is handwritten in the certificate and put society stamp otherwise ask them to issue a new certificate with correct spelling of your name and than take return the certificate which you currently have. Talk to the management people and see if you are required to give any application or additional copy of your registered purchase agreement or any affidavit etc. along with the application. Thank you.

A.Dear Sir,
You may file a representation along with Affidavit for correction in the share certificate otherwise you have to go to Civil Court to issue a direction to the Society accordingly.
