Dear Sir/madam
I was married on 21st april ,2018. The main problem was my husband is an impotent. But once we had physical contact I think he had used some tablets then. But from the next day onwards he used to say me that he was not getting any feelings. One day I told him that if he had any problem then its better to consult doctor but he didnt give any reply. The main thing is that he was not interested in marriage..He used to say me that he was interested in bachelor life but because of force of his parents he married. The next day after our marriage he trapped my mobile so each n every message of mine are going to his mobile too. I chatted with my college mates both with girls and also boys. I chatted with a boy saying that i miss u a lot. With that message he was confirmed that i have affairs with some other person. When i came to my mother's house then the next day he sent all my belongings to my mom's house informing my parents that he wants divorce and i have some affairs. My parents waited for few weeks and my father called him informing him that we r all coming to your house to leave my daughter there...Then he went to police station and filed a case on us that there was a threat to his family members from us. But the mediator told to take his case back..then he took that case back...It was almost 4 months that i was still in my mom's house...We have given him some gifts gold and money which worths nearly 30 lakhs..How would i get my money back and our money what we spent on the marriage..Please reply...moreover i faced very much of mental torture in that house...they didnt allow me to sit on sofa...they didnt allow me to touch drinking water and also they didnt allow me to use the washroom which is inside the house..they used to say me to use the bathroom which was outside the house...There were lots of frogs lizards and some dangerous insects in that bathroom...once 7 snakes came into that bathroom also not all 7 on one day...I was very scared to use that bathroom but all of my mother in laws family members use the bathroom which is inside the house...They didnt allow me to drink milk also....my mother in law ordered me to eat anything only after if she gives permission..One day my sister in law beaten me....I decided to continue my relationship even i have many problems and these many harrassments bcoz watever it may be he is my husband and i am his wife...But he decided to break the relationship and used to link some affairs with others bcoz i came to knew that he was an impotent and he waited for the day that when i go to my mom's house...The next day he sent all my belongings via courier...Yesterday again we planned to goto his house....they threatened us that they would commit suicide if any one comes...thats why we didnt go....
Now the situation is very worse....I was tottaly disturbed and vexed with his behaviour now i was very angry upon his and his family members behaviour....Now i want to go for face to face conversation with them just to question them and scold them....but they are threatening to commit suicide....what shall i do now...how would we get back our money and will i get compensation(not maintanence)..we dont have any proofs of giving money gold and gifts
thanl you

A.dear client kindly discuss all family issue with relative and settle down matter amicably. if there in no meaning comes from discussion then you can take help of court. if you want divorce then there should be mutual consent of both husband and wife.if you want justice for your harassment then you can file complaint of domestic violence or 498A IPC complaint against your husband. choice is yours.

A.If both of you are willing for divorce, it would be better to negotiate a settlement. You can try to negotiate with him either through relatives or lawyers. If negotiation fails, you can initiate action under DV Act and also the Divorce proceedings and for return of your articles. First you need to request a lawyer from Vidhikarya in your local area.
