Insurance team not paying

My dad is travelled out of India as part of a group travel. He fell sick and the entire hospital charges are not covered saying its not a part of the group travel policy

A.Dear Client,
In the given situation, you need to go through the terms and conditions and coverage of the Health Insurance Policy issued by the Insurer and if you find the action of the Insurance Company arbitrary and contrary to the assurance covered under the policy, then first make a Grievance against the arbitrary and unjustified repudiation of clam before the Grievance Cell of the Insurer. If the Insurer unheld their earlier decision taken in the matter of repudiation of the claim, then serve a legal notice to the Insurer and file a complaint petition under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 against the Insurer before the Dist. Consumer Commission over alleged deficiency in service and unfair trade practice claiming payment of entire claim amount admissible under the Policy along with compensation for harassment and cost of litigation. Reach out to an Advocate on receipt of a reply from the Grievance Cell of the Insurer for guidance and steps. A complaint before a Consumer Court is required to be filed within two years from the date of cause of action, i.e, the date of repudiation of claim.
