sir i take 20lakhs loan on my relative 20/05/2016 i he transfer money through bank transfer i give 4 blank promicery note and blank cheque security purposes .i pay all amount after 8years 1/2/2023 he sents legal notice on me i take loan in 2/6/2022 12lakhs and i gave cheque 2023 for 10lakhs in his wife he miscussed blank cheque and promicery not (i have evidence of his husband sents money 2016 ) if he casr dismissed

A.Dear client,
If a signed blank cheque is voluntarily presented to a payee, towards some payment, the payee may fill up the amount and other particulars. This in itself would not invalidate the cheque. The onus would still be on the accused to prove that the cheque was not in discharge of a debt or liability by adducing evidence.
