How to ask judge to listen to abusing languages used by husband to demand dowry and sexual tortured me and accepted that he bet me through marriage also he accepted his visit to sex workers was true . Police took no action still now after my complaint it's been three years can I ask judge to take action for cheating me and forced to resign job pretending to be NRI, one of junior advocate who filed dv case is acting suspicious and often asked me weird questions like he would have got money from opposite councel for not appearing in dv case and asked me to change senior advocate often and tried to drag proceedings intentionally. Now he spoke bad about me to his senior advocate for not appearing in my case during critical stage of marking evidence in dv case what should I do ? I need strict punishment for all torture my husband did to me during marriage I'm not interested in getting compensation

A.Dear Client,
First and foremost, it's essential to have a competent lawyer by your side. If you are not satisfied with your current junior advocate or suspect unethical behavior, you have the right to change your legal representation. In your DV case, you can request that the court impose strict punishment against your husband for his actions. This will be at the discretion of the court, but your lawyer can argue for it on your behalf.
