A.Dear Client,
Yes, you can. If you believe a traffic challan was wrongly issued, you have the right to dispute it. You’ll need to gather relevant evidence and file a complaint, usually online on the traffic police’s official website. The traffic authorities will then review your claim and make a decision.
The Motor Vehicles Act, 1988, provides provisions for disputing a challan. If you’re not satisfied with the decision made by the traffic authorities, you can appeal to the court. Remember, it’s important to have all your evidence ready and to present a strong case. Navigating the legal landscape of traffic challans can sometimes be complex.
Thankyou

A.Dear Client,
Sometimes, E-Challans are wrongfully issued if there are errors with the CCTV camera footage. In this case, you can use the Parivahan website’s Complaint Facility. You must provide proof of your innocence when doing so, stating that you did not commit the traffic violation stated in the challan. You also do not need to pay the West Bengal traffic fine to get your challan canceled. In case you failed to prove your innocence about the violation of traffic rules for parking a vehicle in a No Parking Zone, then You must pay your West Bengal traffic fine within 60 days of the challan’s issuance. Failure to do so will result in more fines. If you still do not pay, you will receive a court summons, where you must explain why you could not pay the fine.
