I bought Redmi Note 7 pro from Flipkart in 2019 recently I needed the invoice for the phone in order to place an exchange and buy a new phone i contacted Flipkart regarding the invoice after invoice was not generating from app and website, they stalled me for 2 weeks saying that my mail is not working even though the mail regarding incident report and feedback were coming only . I raised the complaint on 9th Jan, finally on 19th jan they denied any help stating the product is out of warranty. What should I do

A.Dear Sir,
You are claiming the invoice after more than three years as such there are not legally bound to share such invoice at this distant time. However, you may use your good offices and have patience by writing to different wings of Flipkart organization.

A.Dear Client,
For lack of awareness and loss of time, you lose your right to claim the tax invoice for your mobile phone which was bought in 2019 and you need that in 2024, your claim against the service provider Flipkart is barred by limitation. A consumer complaint against a service provider is required to be filed before the Consumer Forum within two years from the date of the cause of action. A tax invoice or Bill is a must against a purchase of anything to protect your interest whenever it is needed either for exchange or for FIR against missing. However, you may serve a legal notice to the concerned service provider demanding Tax Invoice against the purchase of Mobile which may work or may not work.
