A.Dear Client,

The Central government of India introduced updated regulations for coaching centers on January 18, 2024. These guidelines stipulate that coaching centers can only admit students who are either 16 years old or have passed the Class X Board exams. The new rules also impact aspects such as fees and infrastructure. Notably, private coaching institutes across the country are prohibited from admitting children below the age of 16.

If your complaint was lodged with the Consumer Court before the Ministry of Education's notification, these new guidelines do not apply to your case. However, court proceedings are experiencing delays due to various factors such as complexity, late submission of written versions, discovery of facts, document requests, and valid adjournments. It is advised to remain patient and cooperate with your lawyer to ensure justice is pursued effectively.

A.Dear Client,
The Central government of India announced the new coaching center rules and regulations on 18 January 2024. According to the guidelines, coaching centers can only enroll students who are at least 16 years old or have passed the Class X Board exams. The new coaching centers’ rules change many things, like fees, infrastructure, etc. According to new rules, no private coaching institute of any state in the country will be able to give admission to children below 16 years old. Since your complaint was filed before the Consumer Court before the announcement of the new notification from the Ministry of Education, then that notification or guidelines are not applicable in your case. The Court proceedings are delayed for complexity, delay in submission of written version by parties, discovery of facts, call for documents, adjournments on valid reasons etc. So you need to keep patience and extend your cooperation to your Lawyer to access justice.
