Is my sister ( divorced and totally dependent on family ) eligible for family pension ? ,after death of my mother who is currently getting the family pension ( My deceased father was Utter Pradesh Govt servant). All other brother and sisters are independent and above 25 years old

A.Dear Client,

According to Rule 50 of the CCS (Pension) Rules, 2021, Family pension is granted to the widow/widower or children of a Government servant who entered service between 01/01/1964 and 31/12/2003 or, having entered service before that date, came under the Family Pension Scheme. A widowed/divorced/unmarried daughter is entitled to family pension until remarriage or lifetime or commencement of earning, whichever is earlier. Documents required for family pension include PPO copy, original death certificate, marriage proof, divorce order (if applicable), income certificate, affidavit on marriage status, No Objection certificate from siblings, non-Govt. employment affidavit, ration card, address proof, witness affidavits, last pension certificate, Form no. 10, date of birth proof, and ID cards.

A.Dear Client,
Under Rule 50 of the CCS (Pension) Rules, 2021, Family pension is granted to the widow/widower and where there is no widow /widower to the children of a Government servant who entered service in a pensionable establishment on or after 01/01/1964 but on or before 31.12.2003 or having entered service before that date came to be governed by the provisions of the Family Pension Scheme and at the time of his death received pension. A widowed daughter/divorced daughter/unmarried daughter of a deceased Government servant is also entitled to the family pension till her remarriage or up to a lifetime or starts earning whichever is earlier. The list of documents regarding Family Pension to Unmarried/Widow/divorced daughters is as follows 1. PPO Copy 2. Original death certificate/Attested of applicant’s Father, Mother, (Husband-widow daughter) 3. Marriage certificate/ Marriage Proof (widow) 4. Court divorce order(if divorced daughter) 5. Applicant's current year income certificate 6. Affidavit regarding applicant's current marriage status 7. Affidavit regarding the No Objection certificate of all brothers and sisters with ID 8. Affidavit regarding of Non-Govt. employment of applicant 9. Ration Card 10.Address proof applicant. 11. Two Railway servants Witness with affidavit & ID 12.Last pension drawn certificate of concerned bank 13. Form no 10. 14. Date of birth proof of applicant 15.Adhar card and other ID of applicants.
