Salary cheque payment stopped by employer

Dear All respected adviser's
I have given resign to the company where I was working and the gave me salary cheque but payment of cheque has been stopped by employer and check got returned now employer is asking to return back old cheque and then they will do rtgs but I am sure they will not give any money so pls advise what to do now

A.A legal notice followed by a case u/s 138 N I Act shall suffice.

A.Serve a legal notice for dishonour of cheque u/s 138 NI Act and thereafter file a criminal proceeding before the JM/MM. Alternatively if your employment falls within the definition of the 'workman' then you can raise your grievance before the Labour Commissioner or labour court.

You can first write to them and then if they don't respond then send them a legal notice for recovery of your salary.

A.Dear client kindly issue legal notice through lawyer. If they are not replying then file complaint into labour court.

A.You have a valid cheque for outstanding dues payment, you can issue legal notice under payment of wages act 1936 & also for dishonor of cheque under NI Act. A.There is no harm in depositing the cheque into your bank account. If it is dishonoured, you may negotiate with the employer to discharge their liability at the earliest. If not you may proceed by issuing demand notice to employer. Please contact lawyer after dishonour of cheque for proper legal action.

A.Dear Client, You need to serve A legal notice to your employer company for 138 case , if you submit or return given cheque they will not pay you. do not be shaken. go for sending notice. they will approach for settlement.

A.Dear client U r wise person. Do not return the cheque but deposit it in your bank account. If it is dishonored then file cheque bounce case.
