Recovery of money from a friend

In September I receive a request from a unknown person. But my profile is private so i think that he know to me . So I recieved his request. Firstly they behave politely but after someday he asked for money. Firstly I refused his request. After somedays he told that his mother was hospitalized and he need for money and he promised me that he return my money after the loan was sanctioned. Now his game was started they asked money I gave them and he promised to me every time. When I asked him to return my money then I got realise that a big amount was sent to him in many small amount transaction. And I got knowledge that the account in which I transfer the amount of another person. Basically the target the soft hearted person. They have a proper team and training to done the act. I reach the police station to register my complaint but he reject my request so I registered 2 times online and both have the authority have not accepted my complain and rejected them. So I visited his family and then told them that his son do this on social media platforms, his family members said do what I do they didn't give back money. This week a meeting called panchayat organised in his village but I confirm sure he neglect and lie in front of them. And he promise to me return the money on tommorow 29/nov/2023. Many promises he broke in the past. So now what options I have left.
