I have purchased 2 year online coaching for upsc in hindi midium, but educator are not quality like English educator. After 8 month I realised that this quality not help to pass examination because langauge problem. They follow zero refund policy once fully paid.I took it in June 2023 but in Jan 2024 some govt guidelines come for coaching institute. After raising my issue in that coaching support they refused to refund. Thus 2/3rd of product/sarvice remaining what is solution for this.

A.Dear Client,
Regardless of the internal policy, an educational service provider did not deserve any fees or charges for substandard service or without providing agreed service to the student, and refusing to refund course fees on cancellation of course midway amounted to a deficiency in service and unfair trade practice. Since the institute is providing online service, the complaint needs to be filed online mode through e-daakhil portal ( https://edaakhil.nic.in/edaakhil/ ) introduced by the Consumer Affairs Deptt, GOI following the provision of Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules and Consumer Protection(Direct Selling) Rules, 2021. It may work fast to redress the grievance, failing which you may file an offline Complaint against the online service provider before the Dist. Consumer Commission under whose jurisdiction a branch of the said educational service provider is in operation claiming a refund of the entire course fees you remitted to them along with compensation for harassment. The complaint should be filed within two years from the date of the cause of action, i.e, from the date of refusal to refund the course fees. Reach out to an Advocate for serving a legal notice to the Institute and for filing a complaint against them under the Consumer Protection Act before the Dist. Consumer Commission claiming a refund of the entire course fees, along with compensation for harassment.

A.Dear client,

You can file a consumer dispute in your local district/state consumer redressal forum. In order to safeguard the rights of consumers, the State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission was established as a quasi-judicial authority at the state and union territory levels under Section 24-B of the Consumer Protection Act, 1986. It is an autonomous, statutory, and constitutional organisation in India. You can also file a complaint with their redressal national helpline 1800-11-4000 OR 1915.

Thank you
